And welcome to the awkward time between Thanksgiving and Christmas, otherwise known in my household as holiday purgatory. And yes, while I do count myself among the few lucky half-Jews currently celebrating Hanukkah while also anxiously awaiting December 25th, it remains undeniable that these few weeks are a strange time.
